MakerBot’s is the latest brand added to our well-established portfolio offering accessible desktop 3D printing solutions.
MakerBot’s Asia Pacific and Japan division has announced the appointment of technology solutions provider ARK Infosolutions as an authorised distributor in India because the desktop 3D printing leader believes Arkinfo can help increase the company’s presence in India.
MakerBot’s products enable engineers and designers to develop ideas and quicker and more effectively. Additionally, they offer educators a better way to integrate 3D printing in the classroom to teach creativity and problem solving.
3D printing technology is rising to become one of the backbones to transform India’s design and manufacturing landscape, and it is important that we provide the community and equip our next generation to prepare for this transformation. We are happy to partner with MakerBot, a premium provider of desktop 3D printing technology, to our portfolio, thereby fulfilling our vision, giving students first-hand experience of product design through an engaging and interactive way.
Arkinfo will leverage its sales, marketing and technical expertise to market MakerBot’s 3D printing solutions, including a network of over 2,000 experienced technology resellers. Additionally, the company offers consultation and customer service to support local organisations and educational institutions in their 3D design, prototyping and manufacturing workflows.
The new MakerBot products Arkinfo will be offering include the new Replicator+, Replicator Mini+, and the Slate Gray Tough PLA Filament Bundle. Arkinfo also has a strong focus on supporting schools in India. MakerBot, owned by Stratasys since 2013, is committed to helping with Arcinfo’s MindBox education programme, which is geared towards further empowering teaching and learning through a hands-on and interactive approach.
